US Digest-size magazine. The complete run of two issues published in February and May 1954, by Specific Fiction Corporation, New York, edited by Chester Whitehorn.

Science Fiction Digest was intended as a reprint magazine which would take its material from the slick general-fiction magazines and other sources, but the selections were weak and it quickly failed. First edition - First printing. While most of the stories published in these issues - including two by Robert Sheckley - several of the articles (which leaned towards the occult) were first published here, including My Experience with the Supernatural by Earth Kit and Has Hollywood Gone Science Fiction Mad? By George Pal. Colour illustration from Creature of the Black Lagoon illustration on front cover, several small black and white photographs from the film inside the cover. Illustrated.
