At last … all of Ron Embleton's Wulf the Briton stories, gloriously reproduced in colour to the very highest standard and at the same size as they originally apppeared in Express Weekly. Over 300 pages!

Wulf the Briton was without doubt Ron Embleton's comic masterpiece after he took over the strip - which was a single page cover feature on Express Weekly - in 1957.

The workload that Embleton shouldered with Wulf was formidable. In comparison to Frank Hampson, who had a studio and assistants to help meet the weekly Dan Dare deadlines, Embleton just had himself to draw, letter and paint the feature. However Embleton was unfazed by such considerations and within a few months he was also writing the strip and steering it in a much more historically credible direction as well as adding an extra page to the strip!

Our intention at Book Palace Books is to publish books that we ourselves are proud to put on our own bookshelves. Consequently we take enormous care in all aspects of pre-production, scanning, printing and binding to produce the very best books possible.

We will not compromise on production values and we would rather spend more time to produce a high production standard than rush a release of a book that may be imperfect. We aim to publish the definitive edition of each subject and artist book. If we find we cannot meet our own exacting standards on a particular book, then we will not publish it. Our primary aim is to publish books that collectors will treasure and want to keep.
