These fantastic issues of Modern Wonder have full colour rear covers featuring the first Alex Raymond Flash Gordon strips ever published in England- dating back to 1939!

These 9 issues were published between 20th May 1939 and 19th August 1939 and include issues 105, 106, 107, 109, 110, 112, 113, 115 and 118.

Fantastic artwork throughout including stunning full colour cut away centre folds from the likes of Leslie Ashwell Wood who went on to illustrate centre page spread cut aways for Eagle in the 1950s.

Each issue is packed full of knowledge, fantasy or thriller stories, science fiction and instructional articles.

Modern Wonder certainly was one of the finest publications of its day and gives us an extraordinary everyday insight into the fraught and fast-moving world of the time.

On the whole, these are in fine condition considering their age.
