Since graduating with a First in Illustration from the University of Gloucestershire in 2014, the intervening months have seen her securing a position as DamienHirst’s full-time painting assistant, as well as winning the ‘Student Award’ in the ‘CheltenhamIllustrationAwards’ for her piece ‘AnExtra Pair of Hands.’ Her most recent projects include a set of digital illustrations for the National Trust, capturing images of Worcester for an auction at the Prince’s Trust and designs for a production of Dr Syn in London. Much of Tor’s work reveals her love of the theatre and performance— a passion which led her to join a cabaret show, as well as singing, playing the guitar and theatre work when she was still in her teens. Nowadays the bulk of Tor’s energies are devoted in her illustration and with the amount of energy, focus and sheer talent that she is investing in her career we are confident that Tor Upson will be a name to look out for over the coming years. ● ● Check out Tor's website at: www.victoriaupson.weebly.com
