He recognises Willie when he comes to “Wilderness” disguised as a vicar and gets the drop on him and is only just stopped in time from killing him. Knocked out later by Willie, this time by throwing a gun at him. ROCA STORY 65: “MILORD”: STRIP 6944A Blacksmith in the village of Yacu who mends the undercarriage of her plane when Modesty has to make a forced landing there. Father of Mikay who is about to go away with Lamont to a new life in California when Modesty exposes him as a false priest. He is tongue tied in his thanks to Modesty for saving his daughter from a life of shame in Milord’s porno studio ROCCO STORY 76: “A PRESENT FOR THE PRINCESS”: STRIP 8150 Member of the bandit gang led by Azul which the amnesia suffering Willie has been lured into joining. He is one of the two bandits who is allowed to capture Modesty when she sets out to get in to their hideout. On the night when she and Willie start to make their escape with all the women prisoners he tries to outflank them and is killed by Willie with an extraordinary knife throw. ROCHA, Captain STORY 89 “THE SPECIAL ORDERS” STRIP 9434A Captain of the Yang Shan, the boat used by Rosie Ling in her business of abducting young girls to specific request from her clients. Rounded up with his crew by Hata’s men when they take over the ship. He can look forward to a difficult time. RODERIC STORY 95: “THE ZOMBIE” STRIP 10071 One of the three man team employed by Nicomede Katris to fulfill his grand design of establishing world peace. Unfortunately it requires the sale of a very large amounts of heroin. Works out with Leda in the gym, drives the van for the kidnap of Danny Chavasse and when things start to go wrong he faces Modesty when she comes to find and rescue Danny. Even though she is wearing only a bikini and is unarmed he still hesitates just long enough to allow her to distract him with her handbag. RODRIGUES STORY 35: “THE INCA TRAIL”: STRIP 3994 One of the paratroops sent out by Colonel Zamora to capture the Calvasco children. He is found unconscious by Modesty and Willie with a very large bruise on his jaw which has baffled Willie a bit. Modesty has quite rightly deduced that he was knocked out by Lancelot, who she spotted in the distance. She knows that he is allergic to soldiers. ROFFEY STORY 17: “TAKEOVER”: STRIP 1920 One of the three local British gangsters being trained and rehearsed at the Sonoracast film studios by the Mafia for an armed robbery. His job is to cut the alarm cables within four seconds of the first entry into the bank. When the robbery takes place Modesty is in the bank and when the security guard, Bert Carter, tries to stop them he is murdered. When he and the gang try to escape they are caught by Willie who is by chance waiting for Modesty outside in on of his mates breakdown trucks.
