REEVE, Dr. STORY 3 “THE GABRIEL SET-UP” STRIP 212 The doctor in charge of the “Cloud Nine” technique for extracting sensitive information from unsuspecting patients while under hypnosis at the Phoenix Sanatorium. Nervous about the forthcoming visit of Gabriel and sets up a likely prospect for him to observe. REG STORY 59: “KALI’S DISCIPLES” STRIP 6324 Three card trick lookout and minder sent with his mate Joe to attack Ranjit (1) for showing up their game. Both are seen here being dealt with by Modesty. Not clear which is which. REINZ STORY 5: “THE MIND OF MRS. DRAKE”: STRIP 591 Member of the gang led by V.N. Korzon and Chard. When the police arrive at Chard’s circus and the gang retreats into the Haunted House he is teamed up with Walter, the man who shot Inspector Rees. With the lighting put out of action they are working in pitch darkness. He is one of the first to encounter Modesty, Willie and the blind Roger Challon, for whom the dark is an advantage and who is directing them. He is first stunned by the hilt of a knife thrown by Willie and then finished off with a beautifully timed and executed drop kick. RENZO STORY 71: “WALK-ABOUT”: STRIP 7556 Appears to be the senior of the three Mafia hard men visiting Martin a.k.a. (Mario) Lang to bring to fulfillment the long term strategy of establishing a major drugs distribution network to cover the whole of Australia. He and his associates are conned and hi-jacked by Modesty and Willie and sent with Jacko and his clan on walk-about in the outback. It becomes an unpleasant experience for them all and the price for his release is to sign a confession, together with Lang, that will clear Luki of the charge of trying to kill Larry Houston. Having done this he and all of his people must leave the country and not to come back. A pragmatist he considers it a serious character flaw in Modesty and Willie that they did not kill him when he was at their mercy in the outback. REPPO STORY 34: “THOSE ABOUT TO DIE”: STRIP 3870 Biggest crime boss in the Paris area. When Modesty disbanded The Network he purchased the Chateau on the Aisne near Paris that had been her headquarters in France and now lives there in fortress conditions. Arranged Willie’s kidnap for Dom Tregallion. Refuses her offer of $50,000 to talk about it and is obliged to tell her about it for nothing when she breaks into the Chateau, holds a gun to his head and makes it clear that she is prepared to use it. RICCO (1) STORY 3: “THE GABRIEL SET-UP” :STRIP 226 Personal assistant and bodyguard to Gabriel. With him at the “Lakeside” meeting of the senior members of his world wide criminal organisation. He never speaks and is never more than a few feet away from his boss.
