He may be the man seen trying to escape with Melle but is not specifically identified. NILSEN, Albert STORY 8: “THE VIKINGS”: STRIP 875 Norwegian tycoon, father of Olaf and father-in-law of Margrete. Blames Modesty for his sons criminal career. Tries to buy her services to get Olaf free of the Vikings. Told that she is not for sale but intends to do something about it anyway. When it all gets sorted he has his own doctor available to deal with Modesty’s bullet wound. NILSEN, Margrete STORY 8: “THE VIKINGS”: STRIP 906 Wife of Olaf Nilsen, daughter-in-law of Albert Nilsen. Disapproved of by her father-in-law who described her as a peasant. Kidnapped by Magnus and used to lure Modesty and Willie into a battle with him. Her danger finally makes Olaf realise how much he loves her. NILSEN, Olaf STORY 8: “THE VIKINGS”: STRIP 874 Ex-Network employee and one of its pensioners. Married to Magrete and estranged from his tycoon father. He has joined The Vikings, a criminal gang run by Captain Magnus, which plunders along the western coasts of Europe. A bit of an idiot who redeems himself in the end NIMEAU STORY 1: “LA MACHINE”: STRIP 77 NATO Intelligence. French opposite number to Frank Brett. In charge of the car tailing the abducted Modesty but loses it in the village of Tarlier. Gives Willie a free hand and with Brett is there to collect the files and clear up the mess when it is all over NIMROD – See DANEBY NORBAR STORY 92: “DEATH SYMBOL”: STRIP 9804 Brother of Tsering and one of Djut’s Khamba band. He and his brother are the first to meet “Mostiblaise” when she and Willie set out to rescue Maureen Boyd. Has to be convinced and is then totally dedicated and helps in the rescue. NOROSAN STORY 40: “THE GOLDEN FROG”: STRIP 4485 Instructor at the Thai Combat Academy run by Li Pok and a former pupil of Saragam. Assists in Saragam’s escape from Cambodia. Drawn with U Tak, Ling and Kino but like them is not separately identified. (See TAK) NORSTENE STORY 3: “THE GABRIEL SET-UP”: STRIP 271 One of Gabriel’s lieutenants. Thinks he has Modesty bracketed but she puts him out of action. Later she shoots and wounds him. In the last battle in the house Willie throws him over a balcony head first on to an unforgiving table. NOVIKOV, Captain STORY 55: “THE RETURN OF THE MAMMOTH”: STRIP 5938 The Senior G.R.U. Officer at Soviet Security H.Q. located close to the Russo/Finnish border. Has hired Zimm to assassinate Colonel Greb the local Military Commander.
