When Modesty and Willie are captured by El Mico, he has them brought to Xanadu to provide him and his Berbers with some entertainment. Murderously angry on learning that Modesty, Willie, Giles and Tracy have escaped and taken “The Object” with them. Insists the Silk brothers give chase. Advised by Modesty that the brothers Silk are dead and that she will put out an open ended contract to the Union Corse to have him killed.
