This is the original Gouache painting by Ron Embleton.

This board consists of four scenes from the American War of Independence beautifully painted by Ron Embleton.

Three men fire a field gun in the top monochromatic image, typical of Embleton's power to set mood with careful choice of colour.

The second image shows a general waving back to his troops as he canters onwards toward the enemy line.

The third painting is a raging sea battle with two vessels engaged in canon fire.

Lastly the final image in striking blues depicts British General Charles Cornwallis formally surrendering 8,000 British soldiers and seamen to a French and American force at Yorktown, Virginia, bringing the American Revolution to a close on October 19th 1781.

This board does have a few areas of glue residue causing a slight shine when viewed from certain angles. This is reflected in the price point of this board.
